Before & After: Office Exterior

Today I wanted to drop back in and share with you how we updated the exterior of our office. This charming 1950's house was converted to a commercial office 14 years ago, but this past week we painted the dark red brick for a more beautiful bright white that simply looks so incredible!

I love the fresh new look, not to mention how much bigger the office looks now. Painting the brick was a classic choice for updating this older house, it really brought it back to life!

There are several projects still to complete, including more landscape.

The brick color is Benjamin Moore Soft Chamois, the trim color is Cedar Key, and the door was painted Chelsea Gray.

Recent Furniture Flips

I truly enjoy finding pieces of worn out and dated furniture from garage sales and thrift stores, and then turning them into something new and fabulous! Furniture flipping can be a fun way to get creative and recycle at the same time. Most of the time all it takes is a little paint and a few minor repairs to update an old piece.

French Armchairs

Awhile back I bought a pair of arm chairs at a local consignment store. At the time, I didn't have a specific place for them, so they just sat in our garage. I knew I would eventually find a spot for them in our home.

Here's what they looked like before. The gold bee fabric was reupholstered in a neutral canvas fabric that works perfect in our living room.

Have a blessed day!

I'm sharing this makeover at French Country Cottage, A Stroll Thru Life, Savvy Southern Style, and Stone Gable.

Pair of Chairs

This past month I found a pair of antique side chairs at an estate sale for a bargain that I just couldn't pass up. I loved the curved back and petite size of the chairs, but the dated gold fabric and tufting was the first to go. I had them reupholstered in a neutral canvas fabric and painted the tapered legs white for a fresh new look.

Here's how they look in a home I recently staged

And here's how they looked before...

It's amazing how new fabric and a little paint brought these chairs back to life.

What do you think of the transformation?

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today!

Mudroom Bench

I've been on the lookout for a wooden mudroom bench with storage for my garage. I found one recently that fit the budget and was the perfect fit! After adding baskets, pillows, and accessories this little corner of my garage will be something we use daily.

Wishing you and your family a Happy Fourth of July weekend!

Before and After: Coffee Table + End Tables

I'm back today to share a few more makeovers that I've been working on lately. This vintage coffee table- end table set was in excellent condition and had so much potential. It was just waiting to be updated and lightened with a coat of paint. This whole set sold within a minute after posting on a trading site!
