DIY Magnolia Wreath

Earlier this week I shared our Fall Front Porch and Foyer all decorated for the season.

Today I wanted to show you how to make this beautiful fall magnolia wreath.

I love the magnolia wreaths from high end retailers, but they're a little pricey for me ($100-300 each), so I decided to make my own for a lot less at only $20!

If you would like to make your own magnolia wreath for $20 all you'll need is a medium size wreath form, two faux magnolia leaf sprays from Hobby Lobby
(50% off), scissors, and a hot glue gun.

First cut all the leaves off the branches, then start gluing the leaves on the wreath all pointing in one direction around the form, then layer more leaves as you completely cover the form. It takes a little time, but the result is well worth it!

Here's my real Fall Magnolia Wreath from a few years ago.

I hope you are now inspired to make your own wreath for the upcoming holidays.

Enjoy the rest of your week.

Fall Front Porch & Foyer

Welcome to our home! It's hard to believe Fall is just around the corner. Over the weekend our local farmers market displayed their seasonal pumpkins and I just couldn't resist buying a few!

I stacked them with magnolia leaves on the front porch and decorated with them throughout the house. I like to mix faux and real pumpkins to add different textures and colors.

This year I wanted a natural feel, so I incorporated white, green, and brown tones in my decor. It seems to feel more casual and calm with the lighter fall colors.

Here's last years Fall Foyer if you missed it.

Here's how I made the Magnolia Wreaths on my front door!

Fall Home Tour

Hey there. I'm excited to share my Fall Home Tour with you today. For the past few weeks I've been slowly decorating our home here and there when I have free-time. Having a little one under my feet wanting to help has been a challenge, but we had fun adding fall touches around the house.

Our foyer and dining room are decorated very neutral this year. The hanging basket, pine cone wreath, and dried hydrangeas bring a natural feel that I love.

I've decorated several other fall vignettes around our home including the mantel, kitchen, and the front porch.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by today. I can't wait until cooler weather and for the leaves to start changing!

Maternity Pictures

Today we took advantage of the beautiful fall weather and headed out to snap some maternity pictures. I cannot believe that I'm already 32 weeks pregnant- it has flown by! We are anxiously counting down the weeks until we meet our little girl who's due in late January. We are looking forward to being a family of three.

I'm still finishing the final touches in our nursery and hope to share it soon.
